CARA GONIER
"Arches & Light"
in this series cara explores architectural shapes and how natural light might create shadow or beams dependent on the shapes imposed in the environment. The monotypes are created by building layers from a gelatin plate- once dry, the plate matrix of the "arches" is then inked up and transferred to the paper on the etching press. The prints are examined and configured for pairing to create an abstract collage. Prints are two sizes 6 x 18in and 5 x 21in and can be displayed vertically or horizontal. |

Andrea Maginnis
Welcome to the world of linoleum cut printmaking! Andrea will be exhibiting her local and coastal inspired compositions.
You can appreciate the skill set by observing the clean lines and well maintained white space. A sense of whimsy, nostalgia and professionalism in each print. |

Elizabeth Lorayne
A callagraph plate is built with layers of materials and becomes a work of art in its own right. Inking a callagraph plate with such 3-dimension is no easy feat. It requires much deliberation when inking and wiping areas before printing.
View all these unique prints on May 4. |
